Each of the World Series Formula V8 races has left us memorable moments. But undoubtedly, the race of Mexico City will be remembered by all fans of motor sports, drivers and teams. The reasons? Here we offer you all.

Mexican fans

For weeks, Mexico was preparing to host this great event. The Mexican drivers, Alfonso Celis Jr. and Diego Menchaca were promoting the race. Therefore, it was not surprising the great influx of fans who went to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez to meet their favorite drivers.

Big stars

Mexico City became a great concentration of motorsports stars. In addition to Alfonso Celis, Pietro Fittipaldi or Matevos Isaakyan, big faces of Formula 1 came to support and give their best advice to the drivers of Word Series Formula V8.

All drivers were left speechless when the great Sebastien Buemi arrived at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, current driver of Red Bull Racing and Toyota Ganzoo Racing, one of the drivers that currently has more potential in the world of the races. Buemi acknowledged being a true follower of the Formula V8 and encouraged the drivers to continue competing as hard as they are doing now because “every point counts.”

Drivers, fans and everyone who went to the Mexican circuit went crazy when Emerson (Emo) Fittipaldi made his appearance. The Brazilian star came to give all his support to his grandson, Pietro Fittipaldi, who continues with the legend of the Fittipaldi in the world of the races. Emo said he was particularly pleased with Pietro’s triumph as he won with Lotus in 1972. For Emo, “Lotus is a great family” and he is very proud that Pietro is competing in that team.

Now there’s only one thing left: wait for the next race in Austin in a moment when everything can happen. Looking forward for it!
