“This is the right place to be for the development of my career as a professional driver!”
Matevos Isaakyian, member of the SMP Racing programme, will complete a full racing Season with team AVF in the World Series Formula V8 3.5. Adrián Valles, whose team debuted in 2013, helped Tom Dillmann to achieve the 2016 Title and now they are on charge for the 2017 campaign with the young driver Isaakyian.
The 18-year old Moscow driver is one of the best assets from the SMP Racing driver programme. In 2016, Matevos Isaakyian finished the Series on top-9, with two podiums, including pole and victory in Jerez, having scored the last 53 points (from 70) over the last four races.
Adrián Vallés – Team Principal in AVF
“We are very happy to announce Isaakyan. We tested him in the past with the Formula Renault 2.0 and we know he is a very talented driver, very fast and consistent. Last year he did a very good season in the Series. His experience in the discipline will be important and will help him to fight for the first position from the beginning. We are very proud to have him in the team and really motivated for the Title’s campaign!”

I’m confident that next year will be a very good year. I am aiming to fight for the top three positions for the Championship. I have good knowledge of the car now, so I am more confident into this a second season. I would like to thank SMP Racing for their continued support”.
